About
Built from nearly 20 years across technology, operations, and delivery.
Build to Hold brings together experience across technology delivery, service management, operating models, and business management — with a practical view of what it takes to make technology products work beyond the build.
Why Build to Hold exists
The product is only part of what needs to work.
Technology companies naturally put most of their energy into building the product. But as they move into enterprise customers, the work around the product starts to matter just as much.
That brings more scrutiny to how the product is operated and supported, who owns what, how changes and incidents are handled, what customers expect to see, and what changes when AI becomes part of the product or service.
Build to Hold exists to help companies strengthen those areas before they become a recurring source of friction.

The story
Born from real experience.
Build to Hold was founded by Ana Oliveira after nearly 20 years working across technology and operations. Across different roles and organizations, the same issue kept showing up: the product received the attention, while the operating work around it was often addressed only when a customer, audit, incident, new requirement, or major change made it unavoidable.
Build to Hold was created to make that work the focus rather than the side project.
Experience includes:
- Technology delivery
- Service & operations
- Project & portfolio management
- Business management
- Operating models
- Governance & readiness
How the work tends to look
Clear, practical, and focused on what actually needs attention. The work starts with what exists today, what the product and customers are facing, and what matters most now.
The goal is not to leave behind a list of recommendations. Where the engagement calls for it, Build to Hold can help put the required practices, governance, controls, roles, and supporting structures in place.
Let’s talk about what needs to be in place.
If you’re facing growing enterprise expectations, due diligence, AI changes, or another readiness need, a short conversation can help determine what makes sense for your situation.
